Holiday ideas

Time to think about what we will make for the holdiays. In the past we have decorated wine bags for Thanksgiving, made Christmas totes and Christmas gift tags.

Here is a fun idea using stamps. You stamp on tissue paper and heat the candle with a heat gun to get it to stick.

Supplies:

1. white or ivory candle - unscented for my sake, please
2. white tissue paper - as wrinkle free as possible
3. wax paper
4. jewels or pearls to embellish, if desired

Basic kit

You will need a basic kit for Cardmaking:

1. a personal trimmer - I recommend the type with a swing out arm ruler
2. wet glue
3. dry tape runner - I like the repositionable that becomes permanent
4. raised adhesive dots
5. white cardstock
6. variety of colored cardstock
7. good scissors
8. a big piece of cardboard or a craft mat to work on.
